Editorial June 4, 2016: The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Metahypothesis

HHV-6 University Editorial

Before Ron Davis, Ian Lipkin and Maureen Hanson start doing new rounds of CFS hocus-pocus in their laboratories, we suggest they test what could be called the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Metahypothesis.

The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Metahypothesis:

For over three decades, the Centers for Disease Control has been covering up the relationship between so-called AIDS and so-called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by a massive deception and self-deception involving nosology, epidemiology, HIV and HHV/6/7/8 fraud.

Capiche?

(Please read and reread this metahypothesis very, very carefully and make sure you thoroughly understand it before any research commences. Ponder its implications before you even start to form your own hypotheses.)

Good luck testing the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Metahypothesis! If you ignore it may the best CFS hocus-pocus win!

Distress in significant others of people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome? How about HHV-6/7/8, CFS-related medical conditions and other infections?

Why is the media ignoring the relationship of HHV-6 to Parkinson's?

HHV-6 University Editorial

Michael Kinsley is on the talk show circuit discussing his new book and his Parkinson's. He's still one of the brightest people in the country, so it is quite surprising that he has never spoken publicly (as far as we know) about the possibility that a lot of Parkinson's is a byproduct of the HHV-6 pandemic. We previously expressed our concern that Lesley Stahl has also ignored the HHV-6 crisis.

Lesley Stahl talks about her husband's fight against Parkinson's Disease.

Isn't it time for 60 Minutes to cover the HHV-6 epidemic?

HHV-6A can travel through the nose to the brain

Human herpesvirus-6 entry into the central nervous system through the olfactory pathway

"Viruses have been implicated in the development of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis. Human herpesvirus-6 (HHV-6) is a neurotropic virus that has been associated with a wide variety of neurologic disorders, including encephalitis, mesial temporal lobe epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. Currently, the route of HHV-6 entry into the CNS is unknown. Using autopsy specimens, we found that the frequency of HHV-6 DNA in the olfactory bulb/tract region was among the highest in the brain regions examined. Given this finding, we investigated whether HHV-6 may infect the CNS via the olfactory pathway. HHV-6 DNA was detected in a total of 52 of 126 (41.3%) nasal mucous samples, showing the nasal cavity is a reservoir for HHV-6. Furthermore, specialized olfactory-ensheathing glial cells located in the nasal cavity were demonstrated to support HHV-6 replication in vitro. Collectively, these results support HHV-6 utilization of the olfactory pathway as a route of entry into the CNS."
